The DHA test is required for all health professionals who wish to seek jobs in providing patient care. The DHA test ensures that only qualified and competent individuals are able to provide patient care. All health care professionals will be given an opportunity to take the DHA test, including but not limited to doctors, nurses, and technicians.

How to Register for the DHA Exam in India

  1. Create a Sheryan account on the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Licensing Portal. This portal is used to manage all the applications for professional Licensure.
  2. Upload your required personal and professional Documents; Degree certificates, Registration certificates, Passport, and Experience letters. These documents will need to be scanned and uploaded in the required file types.
  3. Primary Source Verification (PSV) – The DHA uses the DataFlow to verify your documents through a third-party company that verifies your qualifications and experience. This is called Primary Source Verification (PSV).
  4. Schedule an Exam with Prometric: After your documentation has been located and processed, you will receive a DHS approved letter that will allow you to schedule your exam. After selecting “Kerala” for your location, you will then need to select a Prometric Test Centre (Kochi, Trivandrum, Kozhikode or Thrissur) to find an available seat on the date of your choice.
  5. Payment of Exam Fees: The fees for each of the exams are ultimately determined by the employers; however, each of the professions has an approximate fee range ($200 – $250 or approximately ₹16,000 – ₹20,000).
  6. Complete Examination: When you are entering the Test Centre on the day that you take your test, bring your valid photo ID (usually your passport), and complete your computer-based test (your results will typically be reported back to you within 3-4 days).
